Analyst Names His Dark Horse To Win World Series MVP

The 2024 Major League Baseball World Series is set to begin on Friday between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees.

This World Series matchup contains two of the best offensive teams in all of baseball along with two historic franchises.

Neither team has won the World Series since 2020 when the Dodgers won in the Covid-shortened season.

The Dodgers will look to take advantage of game one taking place at Dodger Stadium.

According to Los Angeles Dodgers on ‘X,’ the Dodgers have announced their lineup for game one.

Tommy Edman was the Cinderella story in the National League Championship Series as he batted in the cleanup spot briefly due to the absence of Freddie Freeman due to injury.

Edman took advantage of this and was awarded the NLCS Most Valuable Player with his performance.

Notably in the game one lineup, Edman has dropped down to the eighth spot in the order with the return of first basemen Freeman.

This Dodgers lineup appears to be loaded with talent from top to bottom, and any player could go deep at any moment.

Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freeman have been staples at the top of the Dodgers order this season, and it will be interesting to see how the Yankees’ pitchers approach them this series.

Jack Flaherty will take the mound for the Dodgers in game one after a shaky outing his last time out against the Cleveland Guardians.

This star-studded series should provide plenty of fireworks for baseball fans as it gets underway on Friday.
