Donovan Mitchell and Cleveland Cavaliers Reportedly Set to Agree on Contract Extension

Donovan Mitchell Was 'Tired Of Losing In The First Round'

There is a growing leaguewide expectation that Donovan Mitchell will sign an extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason. Mitchell is eligible to sign a four-year extension with the Cavaliers this summer worth a projected $208.5 million.

There has been reporting that if Mitchell extends with Cleveland then Darius Garland will seek a trade. The Cavs have also drawn a lot of interest in Jarrett Allen.

At this time, Cleveland has no plans to trade either Garland or Allen, nor any other member of their “core four”, which includes Mitchell, Garland, Allen and Evan Mobley.
