The variety of courses on the DP World Tour is admirable and the 2024 season will sign off on two of the best.

Yas Links in Abu Dhabi will stage the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship from November 7-10 before the season closes with the DP World Tour Championship on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates a week later.

Prize money at the two events, which form the DP World Tour’s two-part playoff series, is $9million and $10million respectively.

The well-known venues are already established as two of the very best in the region and that was highlighted again in the recent Golf World MENA Top 100 rankings.

Yas Links retained its position at No.1 while the Earth Course has jumped from 14th to 7th.

The two are owned by Dubai Golf and Viya Golf, who have some of the region’s outstanding venues.

Dubai Golf and Viya Golf positions in 2024 Golf World Top 100 MENA Rankings:

* Yas Links – #1 (#1 in 2021)
* Emirates Golf Club, Majlis Course – #3 (#9 in 2021)
* Jumeirah Golf Estates, Earth Course – #7 (#14 in 2021)
* Saadiyat Beach Golf Club – #10 (#18 in 2021)
* Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club – #11 (#17 in 2021)
* Jumeirah Golf Estates, Fire Course – #20 (#24 in 2021)
* Emirates Golf Club, Faldo Course – #34 (#37 in 2021)

Commenting on the success, Dubai Golf CEO, Christopher May, said: “We are absolutely delighted to see strong results in the latest Golf World MENA Top 100 rankings.

“This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the teams at each of our clubs, particularly the agronomy teams whose relentless commitment to maintaining exceptional course conditions has been crucial to our success.
