Draymond Green Criticizes Knicks and Stephen A. Smith Concurs

Green

Professional basketball player Draymond Green shared his thoughts on the Mikal Bridges to the Knicks trade, predicting that it may result in the team needing to undergo another rebuild.

Speaking on The Draymond Green Show, Green expressed his concerns about the team’s ability to compete against the likes of Boston. He compared the situation to the Houston Rockets’ failed attempts during the Warriors’ dominance, highlighting the potential consequences of a failed trade.

Green went on to say, “The Knicks are in a space where they’re going for it, and I respect it, I think you got to go for it at some point. But what just happened with the trade was that you know if this doesn’t work in two to three years, the Knicks will be rebuilding again because they traded all their picks away.”

Stephen A. Smith, a prominent Knicks fan, reluctantly agreed with Green’s assessment on First Take, acknowledging the tough competition the Knicks face from teams like Boston and the 76ers.

Just a month ago, Smith and other Knicks fans were outraged at Green for his comments suggesting that the Knicks lucked into the playoffs.
