Draymond Green Puts Kevin Durant & Jusuf Nurkic on Blast

Draymond Green Puts Kevin Durant & Jusuf Nurkic on Blast

After the drama of the Warriors-Suns game, Draymond Green had a lot to say about Jusuf Nurkic and Kevin Durant and he sure didn’t hold back.

After the Warriors 113-112 win over the Suns, Nurkic told the media that Green didn’t deserve another chance in the league and that’s it’s “just a matter of time until he hits somebody else again”.

So, Green started his rant by saying that nothing he did in the game looked remotely like he was going to hit someone and then began his roasting of Nurkic.

“Not very surprised that he went to the media and said what he said,” Green said on The Draymond Green Show. “Because that’s the same guy that lay down on the floor when I made contact with him. Bro, you’re three hundred pounds. Get up off the floor, bro. If he actually didn’t lay on the floor like that, I actually don’t get the suspension I got, probably. But the dude lay down like he was dead. That same guy then goes, ‘He doesn’t deserve another chance.’ How, bro? What an embarrassment. And they expect to win with that guy.”

Draymond then spent a few minutes listing all of Nurkic’s struggles from the night, including his inability to guard much smaller players like Steph Curry.

The Warriors forward then explained that the Suns aren’t going to win with the Bosnian at center and deemed Durant and Nurkic’s comments as cowardly.

“What a coward,” Green said. “You go questioning character about a basketball game that you just lost, that you got destroyed in… What an embarrassment! And they expect to win with that guy?”

He continued, “Guys are making a habit out of that. Him and Kevin questioning my character before, as if you’re going to question somebody’s character by the basketball game as if it’s not real life,” Green said. “As if that don’t affect people’s pockets. Like, I think all of it was really cowardly if you want my honest opinion.

“If you want to know the truth about that, I think all of it was really cowardly. … I think they all wack, both of them if you want my honest opinion.”

The Suns big responded to Green’s comments with a rather low blow on X.
