Postseason questions loom large in the Western Conference, but Draymond Green is confident in the Warriors’ ability to defeat the Lakers in the Play-In.
“We’ve beaten the Lakers the last couple of times,” Green stated on The Draymond Green Show. “The Lakers are always tough, especially with [Anthony Davis] on the court. If we faced them in a play-in situation, I believe we can win – we will win.”
Green’s usual confidence is supported by the Warriors’ 3-1 season series record against the Lakers.
He acknowledged the talent of LA’s LeBron James and Anthony Davis, stating, “It’s always tough playing against AD and Bron in a one-game situation. They are capable of having great performances, especially in a one-game scenario.”
Despite the challenges, Green remains confident in the Warriors’ ability to capitalize on opportunities and secure a victory.
Green’s confidence is bolstered by his recent strong performance against the Lakers, where he made five of seven three-point attempts.
The Warriors’ impressive 9-1 record in their last ten games also adds to Green’s optimism.
If the Warriors win their remaining three games and the Kings and Lakers fall short of 47 wins, they have a chance to secure the eighth seed.
