Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, following his indefinite suspension for striking Jusuf Nurkic, disclosed his contemplation of retirement to NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
“I had a conversation with Adam Silver, commissioner of our league, and I just told him ‘Adam, it is too much for me. It’s all becoming too much for me and I’m going to retire.’ And Adam said ‘You’re making a very rash decision and I won’t let you do that.’ And I’m like ‘No, not really sure it’s a rash decision.
