Ryan Fox @ 16/1 with Oddschecker
It might come as a surprise that I am going for the best Kiwi in the game right now. Ryan Fox has been a frequent flyer on my betting suggestions over the last few months.
Fresh off the back of securing a PGA Tour card for the 2024 season, Fox will make his first start of the calendar year in Dubai. He is currently 16/1 and one of the more favoured players to win the title.
The New Zealander has three top-three finishes in his last seven tournaments, including a first Rolex Series victory at the BMW PGA Championship in September. Expect Foxy to be up there once again come Sunday afternoon in Dubai.
Best of the rest…
Rory McIlroy: The Northern Irishman makes his first start of 2024 at the Dubai Invitational. McIlroy’s recent record in Dubai is sensational, with a win and three other top-six finishes in his last five events. He is the clear favourite to win this week, at 3/1, and it would be foolish to bet against him.

Rasmus Hojgaard: Making his first start since the DP World Tour Championship, Rasmus Hojgaard will be looking for yet another DP World Tour win. He won on home soil at the Made in HimmerLand last year, and has not finished outside the top 20 in his last three events. He is 16/1 to win in Dubai.
What else is going on in the world of golf this week?
The PGA Tour’s Hawaiian stint concludes this week. Following on from Chris Kirk’s win at the Sentry, the Sony Open in Hawaii begins on Thursday.
Si Woo Kim won last year’s event, which also followed the Sentry in the tour’s two-week Hawaiian escape. Who takes the glory this week at Wai’alae Country Club, though?
Russell Henley @ 25/1 to win the Sony Open in Hawaii with Oddschecker
Henley came so close to winning the Sony Open in Hawaii back in 2022, losing out in a play-off to Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama. Can he go one better this year and take a first win on the PGA Tour in 14 months?
Chris Kirk @ 33/1 to win the Sony Open in Hawaii with Oddschecker

Chris Kirk secured his sixth PGA Tour victory on Sunday at the Sentry. He also finished 3rd at the Sony Open in 2023 and runner-up back in 2021. Could we see the American go back-to-back to start the year?
