Dwight Howard joins Taiwan Mustangs as latest addition to the team

Former NBA star Dwight Howard has signed with the Taiwan Mustangs for The Asian Tournament, continuing his career overseas.

Howard previously played for the Taiwan Beer Leopards in the T1 League where he received Most Valuable Import honors for the 2022-23 season. He was also named to the All-T1 League and All-Defensive first teams.

The Mustangs plan to pair Howard with Samuel Deguara, a 7-foot-6 center from Malta. The duo is already being referred to as “The Two Beast Connection” by the Mustangs, with Howard known as “Warcraft” and Deguara as “Dracula”.
