Erik ten Hag fields strong Man United XI against FC Twente: Confirmed Lineup – Latest Man United News and Transfer Updates

Match Report: Manchester United 7-0 Barnsley - Man United News And Transfer News

Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo all start for Manchester United tonight against FC Twente in the Europa League.

Manager Erik ten Hag was expected to rotate his team heavily, but this has not been the case, with captain Bruno Fernandes also in the starting XI.

There is a start for new signing Manuel Ugarte in midfield, who plays alongside the seemingly undroppable Christian Eriksen, with Kobbie Mainoo rested.

Andre Onana is in goal.

Harry Maguire comes in for Matthijs de Ligt at centre back, with Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui making up the back four.

It’s unclear whether it is simple rotation or whether De Ligt has picked up a knock, but he is on the bench so it cannot be serious.

Victor Lindelof and Tyrell Malacia are back in training but did not make the bench. Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro are still out.

Bruno Fernandes will be the number 10, flanked by Rashford and Amad, with Zirkzee up front.

Mason Mount is back on the bench after recovering from injury.

Ten Hag has once again adopted the strange policy of naming two keepers, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton, among the substitutes.

The bench also includes Jonny Evans, Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund.

United are now back to full strength in both the midfield and attacking areas for the first time since early last season.

Kick off at Old Trafford is at 8pm UK time.
