Hubert Hurkacz won the Millennium Estoril Open to claim his first clay court title as he downed Pedro Martinez in straight sets in what could be the final edition of the ATP 250 level event in Portugal.
The Pole beat the Spaniard comfortably 6-3 6-4 in just 86-minutes for his eighth career title from the 10 finals he has appeared in, claiming it with his 15th ace of the match.
He took command from the outset to lead 3-1 and kept Martinez pinned back with his powerful serve getting through the first set without facing a break point.
In the second he broke straight away and basically romped through the rest of the set to secure his victory. It would have been even more emphatic he had not failed to claim a break when 4-2 up!
