Anders Limpar, a former player for Arsenal, believes the Gunners do not need to pursue Sandro Tonali due to their already impressive midfield lineup.

“Should Christian Norgaard gain regular playing time and earn the trust of the coaching staff, he has the potential to be outstanding for Arsenal. However, he has been sidelined as both Zubimendi and Rice are performing exceptionally well,” Limpar stated.
“Arsenal is well-equipped in the midfield area, featuring five world-class players, which suggests that adding Tonali would not make sense. In my view, he shouldn’t be a target for us.”

Fabrizio Romano mentioned recently that Arsenal is focusing on acquiring a midfielder among their top three priorities this summer, indicating that Tonali might be a potential candidate.
