Southern California has had its share of talented quarterback prospects who entered the NFL amidst great expectations, and in 2018, two such players were on the list of the top QB prospects in that year’s draft: Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold.
Rosen had three strong seasons at the University of California, Los Angeles, and he was the No. 10 pick in the 2018 draft by the Arizona Cardinals, who traded three other picks in order to be able to take him at No. 10.
He never played well, however, at the pro level, and his career is over after last appearing in a game during the 2021 season.
According to Eric Sondheimer, Rosen is now going to the famed Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Former UCLA QB Josh Rosen is now attending Wharton School of Business at Penn.

Rosen was an economics major in college, and his great-great-great-grandfather was Joseph Wharton, the founder of the Wharton School of Business, as well as the co-founder of Bethlehem Steel, which used to be a powerhouse manufacturing company in eastern Pennsylvania.
He was considered to be the most NFL-ready QB in the 2018 draft, but he didn’t start until Week 4, and he struggled, as he ended the season with more interceptions (14) than touchdown passes (11) while completing just 55.2 percent of his pass attempts.
He played in six games for the Miami Dolphins in 2019, and after starting three games that year, he was benched and barely got onto the field the rest of the schedule.
Rosen’s last appearance in an NFL game came in Week 11 of the 2021 campaign, when he completed one of three pass attempts for five yards in a 25-0 loss to the New England Patriots.
