Chelsea is actively pursuing two promising young talents in the Premier League: Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa and Ethan Nwaneri from Arsenal.
As previously mentioned earlier this season, Chelsea has maintained a keen interest in Rogers, who has consistently performed well for Villa.
This season, Rogers has netted seven goals and provided five assists across all competitions, recently impressing with back-to-back braces in victories over Wolves and Manchester United.
Despite Villa’s reluctance to part ways with Rogers this January, they are navigating financial constraints, which has put Chelsea on alert regarding the situation.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Chelsea is interested in signing Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri, a report first made available by Simon Phillips on his Substack.
Although Arsenal has indicated that Nwaneri is not for sale, industry insiders suggest that Chelsea’s interest remains after their unsuccessful attempts to secure him during the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old is considered one of the brightest prospects in England. However, he is not getting much first-team action under Mikel Arteta, and discussions indicate that a loan to a mid-table Premier League team is more plausible than a transfer to a direct competitor like Chelsea.
