Changes Ahead for United This January
A surprising name on the potential exit list is Manuel Ugarte. He has faced difficulties in meeting Amorim’s expectations for a midfielder capable of controlling the game’s tempo and advancing the ball under pressure.
Amorim is aiming for a more sophisticated “regista” type rather than merely a defensive player. Should a fitting offer come in, the club is willing to facilitate Ugarte’s departure despite the quick turnaround.
