Expert Advises on Tua Tagovailoa’s Approach to Contract Talks

Analyst Reveals How Tua Tagovailoa Should Handle Contract Negotiations

During the NFL offseason, there has been much talk about the league’s elite quarterbacks and which of them will be the next to sign a massive long-term deal that will reset the market for players at the position.

With superstar Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars up-and-comer Trevor Lawrence inking their new deals, the attention has turned to Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins, who seems to have found it difficult to come to terms on a new deal with his team.

Over the past couple of seasons, Tagovailoa has proven his worth to the Dolphins, as he is, without a doubt, one of the best quarterbacks in the game today and more than worthy of potentially resetting the quarterback market.

However, a deal has yet to be made between the promising young quarterback and the Dolphins, leading to speculation that negotiations could extend into training camp.

Former NFL wide receiver James Jones of FOX Sports believes Tagovailoa should dictate terms moving forward via Speak On FS1.

Unless a deal gets done soon, Tagovailoa’s contract situation will become a distraction for the Dolphins heading into training camp and could result in a holdout situation if his demands aren’t met.

With the Dolphins being a legitimate title contender right now, Miami won’t want to mess up a good situation they have going, so it might be prudent for them to get a deal done sooner rather than later.
