Defending champion ERA Basketball Nymburk (NBL) agreed terms with 28-year old American point guard Tookie Brown (180cm-82kg-1995, college: Georgia South) for new 2024-25 season. Brown has played for the last two years at AEK Larnaca in Cypriot OPAP Basket League. He managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 29 OPAP Basket League games he had very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.3apg and 1.6spg. Brown helped them to win the Supercup and make to league final. 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Cyprus League All-Star Game, All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (2 times). He also played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded also remarkable stats: 19.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.2apg and 1.6spg (in top 4). And finally he recorded 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 8 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists.
Brown has played also professionally in Belgium (Limburg United), Germany (Braunschweig) and Poland (Wilki Morskie).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Cyprus League championship title in 2023. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Guard of the Year in 2023.
Brown graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2019 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
