Tom Brady continues to win new fans across the NFL landscape as he prepares for his new career in broadcasting.

At his recent induction into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, the seven-time Super Bowl champion credited longtime coach and mentor Bill Belichick for his and the team’s success.

Ari Meirov noted that Brady delivered the clear message: “It wasn’t me. It wasn’t you. It was us.”

And fans loved it.

One Patriots follower correctly noted that there would have been no New England dynasty without both Brady and Belichick.

One fan posted the simple but profound message that both are the greatest of all time.

A regional fan from Rhode Island gave kudos to Belichick and Brady as “my coach and my QB.”

And the Tatum’s Burner account simply proclaimed, “Love them.”

And what’s not to love?

The combination won six Lombardi Trophies and by far the most victories of any coach and quarterback duo.

In an era of salary caps and free agency that was supposed to preclude extended greatness, the two inarguably produced the most successful NFL dynasty of the new millennium.

As long as professional football is played, Brady and Belichick will be synonymous with winning championships.

And while critics like to argue over who was most responsible for New England’s unprecedented run, Brady’s words should settle the discussion forever.

The Patriots were The Beatles of the NFL, and the whole was always greater than the sum of their parts.

That is the hallmark of a great team and a champion.
