Brandon Aiyuk officially wants out of San Francisco.
The star wide receiver has requested a trade from the team, which has been unable to find common ground with him on an agreement, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
“Despite a recent meeting, the Niners haven’t been willing to engage in negotiations since May so Aiyuk has respectfully asked out,” Garafolo recently tweeted.

No official trade has been made, but it appears as though Aiyuk is on the way out.
Fans all over social media are throwing out interesting takes on the situation.

This is why the 49ers drafted rookie receiver Ricky Pearsall out of Florida at the end of the first round of April’s NFL Draft.
This offense has a lot of weapons outside of Aiyuk as well, including the reigning Offensive Player of the Year in running back Christian McCaffrey, five-time Pro Bowl tight end, and All-Pro wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
Look for San Francisco to find a trade partner that is certainly out of the division and possibly out of the conference.
Teams that were mentioned above by fans on social media like the Steelers and Ravens could both work.
