Manchester United Considering Managers for Next Season

Manchester United is reportedly evaluating five primary candidates to become the club’s permanent manager for the next season.
According to the Daily Briefing, the club’s leadership is particularly interested in Oliver Glasner, the current manager of Crystal Palace.
Glasner is seen as the leading candidate, with sources indicating: “Manchester United have been really impressed with what Glasner has done at Palace. He’s the heavy favourite as things stand.”
Nonetheless, there are other notable names under consideration, as the club intends to take its time in making a decision.
Potential Choices for Manchester United’s Management Role
Another intriguing option could be Thomas Tuchel, the manager of the England national team. However, his upcoming focus on the World Cup may complicate his availability.

Tuchel’s commitments with the national team could delay his entry into a managerial position at Old Trafford.
Other candidates to keep an eye on include former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, though he seems set for Manchester City, as well as Andoni Iraola from Bournemouth and Kieran McKenna from Ipswich Town.
Who Won’t Be in Contention for the United Position?
Despite some speculation, it has been confirmed that PSG’s manager Luis Enrique is not a candidate for the Manchester United position at this time.
This could change, and some fans may find it surprising that such a high-profile manager isn’t on the radar, but it’s possible that Enrique has other plans after leaving PSG this summer.
With a strong professional background, he will have various opportunities, but currently, United appears focused on Glasner and Tuchel.
In the meantime, discussions are ongoing concerning the interim management role with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick until the end of the season.
