There is always a ton of excitement every summer before NFL fans learn who is going to be on the new Madden cover, and that excitement quickly turns into a heated debate when the “99 Club” gets announced.

Get your pitchforks out, because the 99 Club for Madden 25 is now here and fans are ready to argue about the five players who have made it into the exclusive club this year.

The official members of the Madden 25 99 Club are Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and San Francisco 49ers running back and Madden 25 cover star Christian McCaffrey, per Dov Kleiman.

The only surprising inclusion on this list might be Kelce, who is coming off his worst season in years after putting up 984 yards and five touchdowns, ending his streak of seven consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

Some fans weren’t thrilled at the exclusion of every defensive player, as well as MVP Lamar Jackson, and agreed that coming off a down year it was surprising to see Kelce in this club while also lamenting Jefferson’s selection after missing so much time with injury last season.

Mahomes, Kelce, and Jefferson were all in last year’s 99 Club alongside Aaron Donald and Zack Martin.
