Fulham’s Player of the Season Award goes to Antonee Robinson

Americans Abroad Weekend Preview: Robinson, Sargent, and more

Antonee Robinson has been named Fulham’s Player of the Season for the 2023-24 campaign, marking his most productive season yet with the club. Robinson, the American left back, is the first fullback to win this award since Steve Finnan in 2002.

In a statement released by the club on Thursday, Robinson expressed his gratitude for being chosen as the Player of the Season: “Thank you so much to those who voted me as your Player of the Season. Coming off the back of a year where so many of the lads had such strong seasons, it could have been anyone, which makes it that much more special for you to have picked me.”

Looking ahead to the future, Robinson added, “I hope everyone has an amazing summer and, I just want to say again, thank you for all your support all year. It’s been amazing, and I hope next year can be an even better season for myself and all of us.”

Robinson, 26, joined Fulham in 2020 and has since made 151 appearances for the club in the English Premier League and EFL Championship. In the previous season, he recorded seven assists in 44 appearances, playing a total of 3,749 minutes on the field while missing just two matches across all competitions, showcasing his durability.

Robinson was pivotal in Fulham’s journey to earn promotion back to the English Premier League in 2022, alongside his U.S. men’s national team teammate, Tim Ream. As Fulham aims for an improved overall campaign in the upcoming season, Robinson’s contribution will be crucial to their success.
