In the aftermath of the failed Jimmy Garoppolo experiment, the Las Vegas Raiders entered the NFL offseason, intent on bringing in another veteran quarterback to shoulder the load under center.

Although rookie Aidan O’Connell was decent when taking over for Garoppolo last season, there was something left to be desired with the young quarterback, which likely motivated the team to bring in another veteran presence.

As a result of the need for another quarterback, the Raiders decided to bring in veteran signal-caller Gardner Minshew, formerly of the Indianapolis Colts, which might turn out to be a solid move for Las Vegas.

Along with being a solid addition to the quarterback room in Las Vegas, Minshew brings a different kind of personality to the Raiders, which is already winning over the diehard fans of the storied franchise.

Minshew recently had a photoshoot in his Raiders uniform and hilarity ensued as his personality shined with some priceless pictures via NFL Deutschland.

Although Minshew never really got things going during his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Colts, he is coming off arguably his best season in the NFL, as he earned a Pro Bowl selection last year in Indianapolis.

The real question moving forward is whether he can beat out O’Connell during training camp next month to be the Week 1 starter in Las Vegas, as the second-year pro has received high praise from the coaching staff and his teammate.
