Garrett Wilson calls for Jets offense to make strategic changes

Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is calling for changes in the New York offense as they prepare for week 5, following a touchdown-less loss in week 4 against the Broncos.

Garrett Wilson Hoping For Change

The Jets have had a lackluster season so far and are fortunate to hold a 2-2 record as they head into week 5.

In week 4, the Jets were defeated by the Broncos with a score of 10-9, as neither team managed to score a touchdown in a disappointing offensive display.

Reflecting on the loss to Denver and looking ahead to the upcoming game against the undefeated Vikings, Garrett Wilson expressed the need for the Jets to switch things up moving forward.

“I don’t think we do a lot of different stuff to be honest,” Wilson commented. “I watch football on Sundays and I see a lot of teams mix it up and stuff like that. I don’t think we do that. I think we know our identity.”

“It’s just about going out and executing it or figuring out if it’s going to work. I don’t think we’re trying a lot of different things.”

Wilson had a lackluster performance last week with only 41 yards from six catches, adding to his disappointing season with just one touchdown in the first four weeks of the NFL season.

“I know, personally, my route tree hasn’t been what it has been the last two years as far as the stuff I’ve been running,” said Wilson. “It’s just about figuring out if it’s the right identity and whether it’s going to win games.”

The Jets will face a tough challenge against the Vikings next week if they fail to show significant improvement, as Minnesota remains undefeated at 4-0 following another impressive victory over the Packers last weekend.
