GB SQUAD CONFIRMED FOR WOMEN’S FOUR NATIONS – IHUK

Great Britain have confirmed their squad to take part in the Women’s Four Nations in Esbjerg next month.

GB will go head-to-head with hosts Denmark, as well as Italy and Poland, in the four-team tournament from 8th to 10th February.

Matches will be held at the Granly Arena and the tournament forms part of GB’s preparations for this year’s World Championship Division I Group B in Latvia, which gets under way in March with Italy and Poland also in the same group.

Denmark, who are ranked 11th in the world, were promoted to the top division of the World Championship last year.

Head Coach, Mike Clancy, said: “This tournament is great preparation for the Worlds later this year.

“Playing Poland and Italy will be interesting with us facing both sides in the World Championship in Latvia.

“Denmark will be a tough but exciting challenge. We are looking forward to testing ourselves against one of the best teams in the world.”
