Cuba U-20 vs USA U-20, 10p on FS2, TUDN, ViX: The US U-20s continue their Concacaf Championship campaign in Mexico after battering Jamaica 9-0 on Friday.

Manchester City vs Celtic, 7:30p on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN+, FuboTV, Sling TV: Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic have a friendly against Man City at Kenan Memorial Stadium at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC.

Wednesday
France U-23 vs USA U-23, 3p on USA, Telemundo, Peacock, FuboTV (free trial), Sling TV: The USA men will play their first Olympic game in 16 years when they open their tournament against home nation France in Group A at Marseille. The US Olympic team will presumably be led by Venezia teammates Tanner Tessmann and Gianluca Busio in the midfield, USMNT veterans and over-age callups Miles Robinson and Walker Zimmerman on the back line, and some combination of Kevin Paredes, Paxten Aaronson, Taylor Booth, Griffin Yow, and Duncan McGuire up top. France’s three over-age players are forwards Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon), Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace), and central defender Loïc Badé (Sevilla). Mateta’s former Palace teammate Michael Olise is the headline name among the French U-23 players. Olise joined Bayern Munich two weeks ago.

- Kashima Antlers vs Brighton, 6a on Paramount+, CBS Sports Golazo: German-American Fabian Hürzeler became the Premier League’s youngest-ever permanent manager when Brighton brought him in from St. Pauli in the 2. Bundesliga. Hürzeler and Brighton have a friendly in Japan against Kashima Antlers, who sit third in Japan’s J1 League.
- Cerezo Osaka vs Borussia Dortmund, 6:15a: Gio Reyna and BVB are also in Japan for a friendly, meeting 6th-place Cerezo Osaka.
- Köln vs Swansea, 9a: Damion Downs and Köln meet Swansea City in a friendly.
- PSV vs FC Eindhoven, 2p: Malik Tillman and Ricardo Pepi are joined by Richy Ledezma and 19-year-old Dutch-American Michael Bresser for this PSV friendly.
- Gateshead FC vs Middlesbrough, 2:30p: Aidan Morris, Matthew Hoppe, and Boro have a friendly.
- Huracán vs Estudiantes, 6:30p on Paramount+, Fanatiz: Alan Soñora and Huracán first in Argentina’s top tier after 6 games.
Thursday
USA U-20 vs Costa Rica U-20, 10p on FS1, FuboTV, Sling TV, ViX: The US U-20s close out their Concacaf Championship group stage against Costa Rica. They need to advance out of their group and win their first knockout game (quarterfinals) to qualify for next year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup.

- Como vs Cagliari, 11a: Niko Gioacchini and Como earned promotion to Serie A for this coming season under manager Cesc Fàbregas. This friendly pits them against one such Serie A club, Cagliari.
- Hertha BSC vs Cardiff, 12p: Ethan Horvath and Cardiff meet Bundesliga opposition in this friendly.
- Brøndby vs Llapi, 1p: Former FC Dallas academy midfielder Christian Cappis played sparingly for Brøndby last season. FotMob lists him on their roster as a defender; the club has a Europa Conference League qualifier against a club from Kosovo.
- Panathinaikos vs Botev Plovdiv, 2p: Erik Palmer-Brown didn’t play much for Panathinaikos in 2023-24 due to injury. The Greek club meets Bulgarian opposition in their Europa League qualifier.
- Hajduk Split vs HB Torshavn, 3p: Rokas Pukštas and Croatian side Split meet Faroe Islands club HB in Europa Conference League qualifying.
- Juárez vs Eintracht Frankfurt, 9:30p: German-American left back Nathaniel Brown is young enough to be with the US at the Concacaf U20 Championship, but instead he’s with Frankfurt’s first team (and old USMNT right back Timmy Chandler) for their friendly in the Mexican province of Chihuaha. Brown joined Frankfurt this summer on a pre-arranged deal from Nürnberg.

Nürnberg vs Juventus, 11a: Tim Weah and Weston McKennie could feature in Juve’s friendly in Nuremberg, Germany.
Liverpool vs Real Betis, 7:30p on ESPN Deportes, ESPN+ (free trial), FuboTV: Johnny Cardoso and Betis meet Liverpool for a friendly at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA.

- Dornbirn vs RB Salzburg, 12p: Swiss-American center-back Bryan Okoh could feature in Salzburg begins their ÖFB-Cup against second-tier Austrian club Dornbirn.

- Pumas UNAM vs Austin FC, 9p on FS1, TUDN USA, UniMás, FuboTV: Owen Wolff and Austin visit Pumas in Leagues Cup.
- Seattle Sounders vs Minnesota United, 10p: The Sounders are without Josh Atencio (he’s an Olympic alternate), but they did presumably hold Reed Baker-Whiting back from joining the Concacaf U20 Championship team, so he should be there for this Leagues Cup game.
- LAFC vs Tijuana Xolos, 11p: Timothy Tillman and LAFC host Tijuana in Leagues Cup
