Hernandez, Acosta, and Messi lead the star-studded lineup for the 2024 MLS All-Star Game.

Hernandez, Acosta, Messi headline 2024 MLS All-Star Game Roster

Cucho Hernandez, Luciano Acosta, and Lionel Messi are among the top attacking players in MLS and all three will pair together this summer in the 2024 MLS All-Star Game.

The attacking trio were all named to the 30-player list for the MLS All-Star Game against the Liga MX All-Stars on July 24 at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio with the league unveiling the selections on Monday. A total of five players are currently rostered by the reigning MLS Cup winners, Columbus Crew.

The squad is made up of players selected by voting from fans, media, and players, players chosen specifically by Crew head coach Wilfried Nancy — who is coaching the MLS All-Stars — and two selections by MLS commissioner Don Garber (Darlington Nagbe and Hector Herrera).

A total of 18 MLS clubs are represented on the All-Star Roster, while three former Golden Boot winners have been included (Diego Rossi, Denis Bouanga, and Hany Mukhtar).

Inter Miami’s international quartet of Leo Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba were all selected to the roster. The Herons currently lead the Eastern Conference on 41 points.

The 2023 MLS All-Stars suffered a 5-0 defeat the hands of English Premier League giants Arsenal last summer in Washington, D.C.
