New Charlotte Hornets president of basketball operations Jeff Peterson is building out his front office staff. One person Peterson has his eyes on is New York Knicks executive Brock Aller.
Aller currently serves as the Knicks vice president of basketball and strategic planning. He was one of New York president Leon Rose’s initial hires when he assumed control of the team’s front office.
Aller is widely regarded as one of the top professionals in the NBA when it comes to managing the salary cap and negotiating team-friendly contracts. Although it remains uncertain whether he will depart from New York, the Knicks are prepared to do whatever it takes to retain Aller’s services.
