How much does it cost to play the Dubai Creek Golf Course, host of DP World Tour Dubai Invitational?

Dubai Creek

Known for its startling use of water, the Dubai Creek Golf Course is highly rated among the excellent upper tier of golf layouts in the UAE.

The Dubai Creek Golf Course is open to both its members and guests of the resort.

The base green fees to play Dubai Creek Golf Course are set at US$ 225 on weekdays rising to US$ 247 on the weekends. The rates include the rental of a shared cart. Single players will be grouped with other golfers and may have to wait until a suitable group tees off. A caddy is available at a rate fo US$42 per player.

Club and shoe rental services are also available at the course which has an array of golf shops.

Dubai Creek’s par 71 course, stretching 7005 yards, is a fantastic journey from the first tee to the eighteenth green. The well-trimmed fairways are undulating, sometimes marked by water, other times by mounds, date and palm trees. Numerous man-made lakes enhance the beauty and challenge of several holes, in addition to the Creek, which is a factor on at least four of them.

The twin par-4 finishing holes on the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club course make for an exciting way to end a round. The Creek guards the whole left side of the fairway on the 17th and 18th holes. The 17th hole can still be taken on with some cunning play, but every shot on the 18th needs to be carefully considered.

As a part of Dubai Golf, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has a distinguished past as the second-oldest golf course in Dubai, having opened its doors in 1993. It is also home to the first golf academy in the Middle East.

One of the most well-known academies in the area, Dubai Creek’s Peter Cowan Academy is led by a group of qualified PGA Professionals with extensive training who are available to help guide players through every facet of the game. The Professionals and the Academy staff promise great golfing experiences, whether you’re searching for a private lesson or a group clinic.

As for dress code, the course requires that course standards of attire are maintained across the facilities, with gentleman players required to wear Tailored trousers or shorts. A golf shirt with collar and sleeves is required and must be worn tucked inside the trousers or shorts at all times. Mock-neck golf shirts are permitted.

For ladies, golf shirts or blouses are required alongside golf trousers, shorts or skirts. Round neck golf T-shirts are also permitted, as are tailored shorts with side pockets. Denim, Pool wear, Cargo & combat style trousers/shorts, athletic attire (including football/soccer shirts), and ‘national dress’ are not permitted on the course. Golf shoes with soft spikes or flat-soled training shoes must be worn on the course.

The championship course carries a 28 or below handicap limit for men and 36 or below for women. The R&A rules of golf apply and must be followed while playing at the Championship course at Dubai Creek.
