Butler has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Butler Bulldogs and the Providence Friars will face off in a Big East battle at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Amica Mutual Pavilion. The Bulldogs pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.5 points per game. As for the Friars, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they’ve won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
Saturday’s game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Butler just can’t miss this season, having made 47.9% of their shots per game.
