The New York Jets are just 2-3 through five games, dealing with several issues at the moment. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is struggling, and Robert Saleh was recently fired as head coach after over three years with the team. Despite their solid defense, the Jets are facing contract disputes with Haason Reddick, whom they acquired in the offseason to strengthen their defense.
Reddick, who has been holding out and seeking a trade due to contract disagreements, has reportedly been dropped by his agency, Creative Artists Agency, as per Ian Rapoport.

Usually, when a player parts ways with their agent, it is the player who initiates the change. However, in this case, it was reported that CAA wanted Reddick to end his holdout, which he refused to do, leading to the agency’s decision to sever ties with him.
Reddick, known for his impressive sack record and Pro Bowl appearances in recent years, has become a focal point of attention due to the contract dispute. The Jets, relying heavily on their defense due to Rodgers’ decline, must resolve this situation to remain competitive in the playoff race.
The team currently ranks well in points allowed, passing yards, and total yards given up but struggles with run defense at times.
