But Harbaugh and company weren’t through with settling on their nine selections.

Here’s who else they’re luring in as undrafted rookies and who got an invite to their camp.

The Chargers lured in 21 total UDFAs after the NFL Draft.

One name is already familiar to Harbaugh. He’s bringing in Michigan guard Karsen Barnhart as an undrafted rookie.

Meanwhile, the Chargers needed to address wide receiver after trading away franchise receptions leader Keenan Allen before the draft. Jaelen Gill of Fresno State gets added to a rookie class that features Georgia’s Ladd McConkey. However, Harbaugh has some familiarity with Gill as he’s a former Ohio State commit.

Elsewhere, Casey Bauman comes to the Bolts as a NCAA Division II quarterback prospect. While suiting up for Augustana, he threw 29 touchdown passes compared to nine interceptions in 2023. Bauman also previously played for Montana State at the FCS level.

Lastly, North Carolina State will have multiple representatives on the Chargers’ UDFA roster. Savion Jackson and Robert Kennedy helped man the Wolfpack’s defense last year before getting their chance with the Chargers.

Who Will Be Attending the Chargers’ Rookie Minicamp?

  • Cole McAlpin, OL, Belhaven
  • Chris Collins, DL, Minnesota

Cole McAlpin becomes an NCAA Division III prospect aiming to earn a roster spot on the Chargers. He received his invite on April 30.

Collins earned his rookie minicamp invite on the same day of McAlpin, the University of Minnesota announced.

When is the Chargers’ Rookie Minicamp?

The Chargers will get their chance to look at their rookies, including the UDFAs, on May 10-12.

Per the NFL Operations page, each franchise including the Chargers were given a choice between the dates May 3-6 or May 10-13 to conduct their rookie camp.

All teams were also given Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday formats to choose from.

For Harbaugh and the Bolts, they’ll use Mother’s Day weekend to observe and coach up their rookies — beginning on Friday, May 10.
