KK Plama Pur Ilirska Bistrica (2SKL) agreed terms with 28-year old point guard Grega Sajevic (187cm-1996) for new 2024-25 season. It is actually his comeback to Ilirska Bistrica as he has played here before. Sajevic played last season at KK Nova Gorica mladi in the 2SKL. In 20 games he had 14.1ppg, 4.2rpg and 5.3apg (top 4). Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He played in the final of Slovenian U18 Championship in 2013 and 2014. The previous (2022-23) season he played at KOS in Austrian 2.Bundesliga where in 20 games he was league’s third best scorer with impressive 23.2ppg and averaged 4.0rpg, 5.7apg (leader !!!) and 1.6spg in that year. 2022-23 was a great season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Austrian 2.Bundesliga Bosman Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and also here League Player of the Week (2 times). He represented Slovenia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Helsinki (Finland) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 2.4ppg, 1.4rpg, 1.4apg. He has played previously for five other Slovenia teams: Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana, Triglav, LTH Castings, Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana 2nd team and Sencur Gorenjska Kranj. He played in the final of Slovenian U18 Championship in 2013 and 2014.
