The most exciting game of round 28 in the U18 League took place in Tbilisi.
This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of much higher ranked Wings (17-4) to fourth ranked Tbilisi (16-5) 82-80 on Wednesday evening.
Wings were trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 27-22 charge of Tbilisi, which allowed them to win the game.
The winners were led by Otar Xuchua with 26 points and 6 rebounds, while Levan Kvirikadze contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists.
On the other side, Andria Mdinaradze replied with 33 points and 6 rebounds for Wings.
Tbilisi has a solid three-game winning streak and maintains the fourth position with a 16-5 record, while Wings keep the second place with four games lost.

Basco – Hyundai 58-56
Seventh ranked Basco (11-9) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging higher ranked Hyundai (16-4) 58-56 on Thursday evening.
Teimuraz Mjavanadze led Basco with 19 points and 6 assists, while Amiran Beshkenadze added 6 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
Basco’s coach Ivane Maisuradze allowed to play the deep bench players in such a tough game.
On the losing side, Nikolozi Kobaidze responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Sokhumi – Orbi 69-67
A very close game took place in Tbilisi between Sokhumi and Orbi. Eleventh ranked Sokhumi (6-15) got a very close home victory over 10th ranked Orbi (6-15) 69-67 in the fight for the tenth place.
Sokhumi was led by Giorgi Bokuchava who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds by Levan Biatashvili did not help to save the game for Orbi.
Sokhumi moved-up to the tenth place, which they share with defeated Orbi.
