As of now, most NFL analysts and fans have the Washington Commanders as either the worst or second-worst team in the NFC East Division.
That’s fair if you consider the way they’ve fared over the past couple of years, but with a new direction and a potential star under center, things could change pretty quickly for them.
According to a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN (via Obvlon), there has been plenty of buzz regarding Jayden Daniels and what he could be able to do right out of the gate.

Apparently, some people around the league are scared about the Commanders and what they could look like, as Daniels is an elite scrambler but also a much more polished passer than most running quarterbacks are when they enter the season.
Despite some big concerns about the offensive line, Daniels has reportedly turned a lot of heads and will enter his rookie campaign with high expectations.
The Commanders have a solid offensive cast by all means, featuring the likes of Austin Ekeler, Jahan Dotson, Terry McLaurin, and Zach Ertz, not to mention a new offensive coordinator in Kliff Kingsbury.
Dan Quinn should also put an end to their well-documented struggles on defense.
So, even if it might take them a while and they may not be able to dominate overnight, it might not take the Commanders as long as some people originally thought to get back to the playoffs.
That’s the kind of impact and turnaround that a promising quarterback can make on a team.
