Insider Reveals Struggling Outlook for the 2024 White Sox in MLB

For five innings, the Chicago White Sox were beating the Minnesota Twins, 2-0.

Unfortunately, games just don’t last five frames.

The Twins scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to flip the score, then another one in the seventh and two in the eighth to claim a 6-3 comeback victory against Chicago.

It was the White Sox’s 22nd defeat of the season.

Shockingly enough, they have only three wins.

There are relievers (not just starters, relievers) who have more wins than the White Sox.

It has been an embarrassing showing this year by the south siders, and fans don’t deserve this.

They have been so bad that they have strung together multiple long losing streaks.

MLB insider Bob Nightengale explains:

“The Chicago White Sox (3-22), who just lost 6-3 to the Minnesota Twins, have had separate losing streaks this season of 4 games, 5 games, 6 games, and now 7 games. It’s April 25,” he tweeted.

Chicago loses their games in bunches.

It’s mind-blowing to think that the season still isn’t a month old and they have losing streaks of four, five, six, and seven games.

This is an organization that contended just three years ago, in 2021.

After their 81-81 record in 2022, the franchise completely collapsed in 2023 and are currently hitting rock bottom this year.

Of course, injuries to top performers haven’t helped matters, but there is a shocking dearth of talent in all levels of the organization, not just in the majors.

The White Sox are in for a major rebuild that could last years, but they are going nowhere if they don’t do something sustainable.
