NBA scouts have raised concerns about the way Bronny James has been used in his college basketball career at USC.

As Bronny prepares to enter the 2024 NBA Draft, questions have been raised about his readiness for the professional league.

While some doubt Bronny’s NBA readiness, others like NBA legend Paul Pierce believe that this year presents a good opportunity for Bronny due to the weaker draft class.

NBA insider Brian Windhorst has stated that scouts feel Bronny was unable to showcase his full potential at USC due to being played out of position.

“NBA scouts don’t think Bronny James was able to put his best foot forward this year because USC didn’t play him in his position…They say that he should play somewhere where he can… Build up his skills,” Windhorst explained on The Pat McAfee Show, per ClutchPoints.

Windhorst also mentioned that Bronny’s agent, Rich Paul, is exploring different options for his development, including the G League, Summer League, or another year of college.
