After a better-than-expected season in 2022 with veteran quarterback Geno Smith replacing superstar Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks seemed to have a bright future ahead, as many expected them to continue being a force to be reckoned with in the NFC, especially with the talented wide receiving corps they have.

Unfortunately for Seattle, the Seahawks came just short of making the playoffs in 2023, as they came one win shy of matching the division-rival Los Angeles Rams, who went on to be playoff-bound along with the NFC West division champion San Francisco 49ers.

Despite the division only getting better, with the Arizona Cardinals potentially having a bounce-back season in 2024, the Seahawks could get back to form as one of the better teams in the conference if everything clicks under the new head coach and Pete Carroll’s successor, Mike Macdonald.

Along with potentially being a team to watch in the NFC next season, the Seahawks will also be turning back the block in Week 6 on Thursday Night Football with some throwback jerseys from the 1990s, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

With the Seahawks having an avid fanbase that follows and supports the team passionately, these throwback jerseys from the 90s could start flying off the shelves once they return to the field in Week 6 when Seattle takes on the division-rival 49ers, who might be one of the best teams in the NFL once again in 2024.

It’ll be interesting to see where both teams are at in Week 6, as that is around the time that the league starts to take shape in terms of judging which teams are for real during the regular season.
