Insider’s Firm Conviction on Brandon Aiyuk’s Future in American Football

Insider Reveals Latest Update On 49ers' Contract Talks With Brandon Aiyuk

The San Francisco 49ers and All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk have been in a contract dispute all offseason.

Aiyuk wants to be paid like a superstar now that he is entering the final year of his deal.

San Francisco has not offered him what he wants, and they even drafted a possible replacement for him in former Florida Gators wide receiver Ricky Pearsall.

But according to Pro Football Talk‘s Mike Florio, San Francisco wants to keep the team together.

Florio also mentioned that he felt like if the 49ers were going to trade Aiyuk, they would have done it before the draft.

But with a lot of players getting paid at a high salary, including the likes of George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Trent Williams, the team can only hold everyone together for so long.

That is why the team is trying to keep everyone together for just one more year before they possibly lose a key piece or two.

Aiyuk is a great player and recorded over 1,300 yards last season.

But, he is a replaceable player in the Bay Area, which is why the team does not want to pay him a lot of money.
