Leona Maguire started strong at the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Team Series London event and finished with a victory at the Centurion Club.
Maguire shot a 66 in the opening round and followed it up with rounds of 72 and 73 to win the individual title at 8 under for the tournament. Maria Hernandez finished one stroke behind Maguire, while Alison Lee, Lauren Walsh, and Georgia Hall tied for third at 6 under.
Walsh, an Irish golfer who played at Wake Forest, briefly took the lead with a 65, but Hernandez birdied the 18th hole to go up to 7 under.
At 6 under, Maguire made a crucial shot with her hybrid club, landing it on the green to set up a winning putt.
