There’s growing uncertainty about the availability of Los Angeles Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard for the beginning of the first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks.
Leonard has been sidelined since early April due to inflammation in his right knee, which he has previously had surgery on. While Leonard has been participating in shooting drills, he has not engaged in contact practices yet.
The Clippers are set to face the Mavericks in their first-round opener on Sunday, with both teams viewed as potential contenders for a deep playoff run.
