The Philadelphia Eagles, as always, seem to be dealing with a little bit of drama.
Starting quarterback Jalen Hurts spoke with the Philadelphia media this week about how his bye week went and had some intriguing comments.
“This is probably one of the most efficient bye weeks I’ve been a part of, share those moments, talk through some things…Some great moments,” Hurts said Wednesday (via insider Zac Berman).
Eagles fans should feel excited about what Hurts had to say.
Philadelphia has had an underwhelming start to the season at 2-2 and has struggled to find consistency on both sides of the ball.
They have been missing Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown, and veteran defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is still trying to work out the kinks in his first year in Philadelphia.
But given the answer from Hurts on his bye week, things could be looking up.
Coming out of the bye week, Philly will now be facing a struggling 1-4 Cleveland Browns team that has been arguably the most underperforming team in the league so far this year.
If the Eagles don’t win this game at home on Sunday afternoon, there will be some real questions that have to be asked.
Those questions will be sent in the direction of head coach Nick Sirianni and Hurts.
