After 13 excellent seasons in the NFL, all of which were spent with the Philadelphia Eagles, center Jason Kelce recently called it quits.

He will now join the crew of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” but his schedule is filled with plenty of other activities these days.

At a recent charity golf event, Kelce was awarded with a saxophone in honor of his retirement, per SPORTSRADIO 94WIP.

Kelce said he played the saxophone in high school, and he will now have a little bit of time to play the instrument again if he so chooses.

He also does a weekly podcast with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which has become quite popular ever since it premiered in September 2022.

Jason Kelce was a sixth-round draft pick in 2011, but he quickly became Philly’s starting center, and just three years later, he made his first of seven Pro Bowls.

He won a Super Bowl championship during the 2017 season, and five years later, he went up against his brother Travis in another Super Bowl appearance, only to see his Eagles blow a 10-point halftime lead and lose in the closing seconds.

Meanwhile, Travis, who is about two years younger than Jason, was rumored to be nearing retirement this past season.

But once his Chiefs won their third world title in five seasons by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, he announced he would be back for the 2024 campaign in order to chase a three-peat.

In fact, he ended up signing a two-year, $34.25 million extension that will run through the 2027 campaign.
