The Washington Commanders appear to have themselves something special in No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels.

The former Heisman Trophy winner appeared on the “All Facts No Brakes” podcast to discuss what the franchise can expect from him.

Washington selected a player who can excel in multiple aspects from the quarterback position.

After transferring from Arizona State to LSU in 2022, he made a strong impact with nearly 80 total touchdowns and just 7 interceptions in his last two collegiate seasons.

His Heisman-winning season showcased his impressive stats—over 3,800 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, 72.2% completion rate, and only 4 interceptions.

His dual-threat ability as both a rusher and passer caught the attention of the Commanders, who picked him at No. 2 overall.

To change the fortunes of the struggling franchise, Daniels faces an uphill battle.

Washington has won only three division titles in the last 25 years and has not won a playoff game since 2005 or a Super Bowl since 1991.

However, with experienced head coach Dan Quinn at the helm and key veteran additions like Bobby Wagner, Zach Ertz, Austin Ekeler, and Dante Fowler Jr., the team looks to be underrated this season.
