Jaylen Waddle Fearlessly Shares Opinions on Tua Tagovailoa

Jaylen Waddle Doesn't Hold Back His Thoughts About Tua Tagovailoa

Jaylen Waddle is one of the richest players at his position in the league now.

The former national champion at Alabama just recently signed a three-year extension that is worth over $84 million with the Dolphins.

Since being drafted in the first round at No. 6 overall by the Dolphins in 2021, Waddle has become a star.

He has caught over 250 passes in total over his first three years and has eclipsed 1,000 yards in each of those three seasons.

When you are teammates with Tyreek Hill, you are bound to get lost in the shuffle.

Waddle has Tagovailoa to thank for his success as a wide receiver so far.

On The OGs Show, Waddle recently got a chance to hype up his quarterback.

“Tua’s our guy,” Waddle said.

He also believes the team can win a championship with him at quarterback.

The Dolphins are a team that is trending upward thanks to the play of both Tagovailoa and Waddle.

While still searching for his first deep playoff run as a starting quarterback, Tagovailoa himself has proven that he can be a great player in this league.

The Pro Bowl quarterback has led the league in passing yards (2023) and passer rating (2022) on different occasions.

He has guided Miami to back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time since 2000-2001.

With players like Waddle, Hill, the recently-signed Odell Beckham Jr., Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane, this offense can be the backbone of this team, especially when the season moves into January.

But in the end, it will be up to Tagovailoa to make the difference.
