It’s never easy to stand out in the NFL.

There are so many talented players, and sometimes, not being in the right position to succeed can hurt people’s perspective on one player.

That seems to be the case with Elijah Moore.

The Ole Miss product is a hybrid threat who can catch passes or scramble out of the backfield, yet it seems like he just hasn’t been able to hit his stride yet.

That’s why Miami Dolphins star Jaylen Waddle thinks Moore is perhaps the most underrated wide receiver in the game.

Talking to former NBA players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller on The OGs Show, Waddle revealed that he has worked out with Moore in the summer and that he’s incredibly talented, adding that he’s got a lot to prove and he thinks he’s going to do it.

Moore was taken with the No. 34 pick by the New York Jets back in 2021, but he didn’t get many chances to do his thing on that ever-struggling offense.

Having that revolving door at the quarterback position can hurt any wide receiver, and things didn’t get much better when he was traded to the Cleveland Browns last year, as they had four different guys starting at quarterback as well.

But now that he’ll have another season to work under Kevin Stefanski and, hopefully, with a healthy Deshaun Watson, perhaps he’s finally going to break out in the way that Waddle thinks he’s capable of.

Still, with Jerry Jeudy, Amari Cooper, and David Njoku all ahead of him on the list for touches, he’s going to have to put in a lot of work.
