Jerry Jones Details The Importance Of Upcoming Bills Game

The Dallas Cowboys have been hot lately, and they will take their five-game winning streak to the Northeast this weekend to face the Buffalo Bills.

At first glance, one would think the Cowboys have a clear advantage in this game, as Buffalo has a 7-6 record and has struggled all season.

The Bills did defeat the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but most feel they lucked into that win thanks to an offside penalty that negated what would’ve likely been a game-winning touchdown by the Chiefs’ Kadarius Toney.

Playing in Buffalo at this time of year isn’t easy though because of the weather, and they do have quite a bit of talent, which led Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to stress the importance of this contest, per Jon Machota.

Although he has been turnover-prone, Bills quarterback Josh Allen remains one of the best and most capable at his position in the game today, and he’s tied for the second-most touchdown passes in the NFL with 25.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is tied for the fourth-most receiving touchdowns, and he also has 993 receiving yards through 13 games.

Buffalo ranks fifth in points and total yards, and therefore they will be a good test for Dallas’ defense, which is first in points allowed, first downs, and fewest turnovers.

With a 10-3 record, the Cowboys have taken over first place in the NFC East, and they have a real shot at getting the top seed in the conference, which is currently held by the San Francisco 49ers.
