If JJ Redick becomes the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, he plans to target Sam Cassell, James Borrego, and Jared Dudley as his assistants, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Currently, Borrego is with the Pelicans, Cassell is with the Celtics, and Dudley is an assistant with the Mavericks. Cassell is also being considered for a position on Doc Rivers’ staff with the Bucks.
The Lakers are reportedly very enthusiastic about the prospect of hiring Redick as their head coach.
