Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid is out for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Brooklyn Nets as a precautionary measure. Embiid had experienced a tweak in his previously injured left knee during Friday night’s game.

The 76ers anticipate having Embiid back in action for either the 7-8 game in the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday, or for Game 1 next weekend if Philadelphia secures advancement to the No. 6 seed.
