As the American and National League Championship series conclude, the World Series matchup is set.

The New York Yankees of the American League will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers of the National League.

Game one is set to begin on Friday at Dodger Stadium as the Dodgers have home-field advantage for the series.

Cincinnati Reds legendary first basemen Joey Votto revealed his prediction on who will come out victorious in the World Series.

“My prediction is I think the Dodgers with the home field advantage are going to win this one,” Votto said.

Votto ultimately picks the Dodgers as his World Series champion, but he identifies a bigger thing that he is looking to get out of this series.

The series will include four superstars in the game today including Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, and Juan Soto.

Votto appears to think that this series will be a good chance for the game to grow as fans are able to see four of the league’s best players on the field at the same time for possibly seven straight games.

He does express the importance of this series being a long one and not ending in four or five games.

The Dodgers and Yankees matchup is likely a dream scenario for fans around the league.

Not only are these two of the best teams in the game, but they are in two of the largest cities in the nation.

All in all, the baseball world should be in for a treat with this matchup.
